Although the service is friendly this place is best avoided. We seldom had such really poor and overpriced food. We took a 22, menu, with main course and desert. First choice:entrecote. ‘Sorry we do not have that, it will be pave de boeuf’. Wait, what? You just opened and are already out of entrecôte? Then either go to a butcher or change your menu (easily with some chalk, nothing printed here). Okay, we’ll have the pave. Which was far too red to be called medium, but that might be a matter of taste. It wasn’t the first piece of meat we have eaten so we have some comparison. This was simply not good. We found an restaurant in Lalinde, we thought with a nice rating. We chose a ‘formule’ starter and dessert. We had some bread as well. With those peaces you could kill somebody. Well, the starter, 2 peaces of tomato, some lettuce and 6 parts of dried canard(duck . My wife had a cheesecake of salmon. Discription: crumble base, a full pack of creamcheese and some salmon on top. No finesse at all. As a main i had a burger with fries full of oil. Burger was dry, even a bigmac is tasting better. My wife had salmon. Salmon was at some point raw, and the quality of the wish was not that good(taste . Believe me, my wife can cook better, and she is NOT a big star in the kitchen. This little family run restaurant will welcome you with sincere hospitality and wonderful food. Mom does the cooking and son does the serving. Everything we ate here (we returned more than once! was beautifully served and delicious. I recommend the fois gras which the chef makes herself. Truly it was the best we had......and we were on a mission to find the best in the region!

On a hot day and after a good walk we returned to the centre of town and found a selection of restaurants. We found this place and stayed as there was a nice table in the shade. The owner was from the South of France and was charming. I enjoyed a gesier salad and my partner a goats cheese salad. Both were delicious and very reasonably priced.

We were there on a Sunday night (much appreciated that they were open! good selection of dishes, nice ambiance, very friendly staff (family owned and run: mother cooks, brothers serve, father manages . Apparently open only 2 months, dishes well presented and thought out. Desserts a plus.

We have stopped for coffee here in the past and decided that the plat de jour menu looked great value , we were not disappointed when we went lunch time on Friday 14th Feb , excellent service, food perfect , Lovely decor , we live nearby so will definitely be returning

We ate here for lunch after visiting the Vide Grenier on a Sunday , it was a bit pricey €25 for the set menu but everywhere else was full . The waiter was a bit surly to start with but improved throughout the meal The food was scrummy I would definitely recommend it

I know this owner since his earlier restaurant in st avit Seigneur . I had hoped that this had improved since then, but unfortunately not! for what we have, we both thought the prices too high. we had to try, but once was enough!

Stopped at Au Bon Temps and we both chose the Menu du Jour for €15. Excellent food. We each chose different items and all were very good. With a glass of wine as well it's excellent value.
