Again I have visited this place on several occasions either for lunch or just for a beer in the afternoon. Located just off the main road on the pedestrianised area it's a lovely setting for a meal or a drink. The menu has improved year on year and last week we had a lovely lunch accompanied with wine. They do an awesome selection of beers and recommend them with different dishes. I had fish which was so-so but the salads and burgers are awesome. Huge chunks of meat for the burgers with fresh frites, why are the frites always good in France? It's open all day and it's nice to come in the afternoon for a refreshing drink when you have had enough of the heat. I think they do live music in the...
Nous n'y étions pas retourné depuis notre déception, il y 2 ans...nouvelle tentative...Il faut savoir que ce restaurant est en travaux et qu'à notre arrivée, on n'hésite pas à nous placer au fond de la salle avec en vue principale des rouleaux de papier peint, table a encoller et j'en passe. Super !! On commande une carafe de vin qui est rapidement servie et on attend...on attend et oui, il manque les verres...Au bout de 20 mn, je dois donc rejoindre le bar pour réclamer ces fameux verres. J'attends toujours le petit mot d'excuse...Cuisine sans intérêt, pour ma part, hamburger froid et frites industrielles, personnel peu motivé, prestation trop chère pour ce qui est proposé, enfin la totale...
Stopped by this place for a quick bite on May 1, a holiday when most of the rest of town was closed down. For 12E, they serve a very tasty and large green salad with fresh greens, zucchini strips, red onion, scallion, tomatoes, orange sections and strawberry topped with smoked salmon and sauteed shrimp and a light vinaigrette dressing. Very reasonably priced house wine also available in red or white. There seemed to be a good local crowd in the place which is always a good sign. A bit hidden from the street, as we almost walked by without noticing it, but definitely worth seeking out for good food at a reasonable price.
This place is located in the square below the castle in the centre of the old part of the town. The location is nice, away from the road. It's a good place to sit outside and drink a beer. They have beers such as Leffe, which is good. I went there for lunch, but it was nothing special, not bad, just that I probably wouldn't go there to eat again. There are several other pubs nearby in Salon, such as La Biérerie and the Irish pub called The Silent Man.

I simply can not think of one positive thing to say other than the view of The CastleService utterly chaotic, orders forgotten etcFood was simply terrible and looked nothing like the pictures on the menuI am wary of any restaurant that has photos of dishes either in the window or on the menu Wellworthamiss
Connaissant le restaurant dans ma région, il était important de tester celui ci ! Pas déçu sur le repas & le choix proposés .. Un peu plus de gentillesse des serveurs & ça serait parfait si l'on excepte le prix, assez cher ..
People are really nice, the food was quite tasty and the pub is comfortable. In addition, it's very well located since it's in the downtown, right next to the "chateau de Lamperi" and surrounded by shops!
Pour boire un verre vers 17 heure, le service est lent et trop long. La bière (Leffe ) pas assez fraîche . Le seul point positif et la brumisation qui est très agréable.

interesting place with good dishes. Some proposals unfortunately not availalbe, service quite slow and waiters inattentive.
