Au Bureau Pub & Brasserie

We went to Perigueux during the annual summer sales. We needed plates and bowls for the business and there's a cheap pottery outlet just on the outskirts. The plan was to get the crockery then head to Boulazac on the other side of the city...to enjoy lunch at the best Chinese buffet we've found in France, by far. The Perle de Chine. We aimed to eat to excess, then browse the abundant malls and shops in the same area to walk off the oriental indulgences. Visited this restaurant for lunch las week .Was busy ,but got a table quickly .Staff were good ,friendly and attentive .Food was better than expected ,a very good selection ,and a great selection of beers from around the world .Dessert was good as well .Well priced as well .Just on the outskirts of Perigueux ,and well worth a visit .

Entered the totally empty large bar at 3pm ordered a beer at the bar. Looked around at the 40 odd tables. Decided to sit in the relaxing armchair table by the TV. A gruff staff member came up and told me to sit on the unconfortable bar stools I Won't Return !

Had dinner after the game. Had a frenchi pizza to share with friends it was great. The sishes after were very average. Entrecote berry chewy, burgers soso and service not so friendly. The place is nice but lacks nice atmosphere. Dessert came out as fantastic

I have had one of my best Steak Tartare at Au Bureau. The burger and the bavette steak were also awsome. Friendly service, very affordable. Tucked away at the back of the retail park but well worth finding. I will be back!
