we took the menu jour lunch, and soon came to regret it. the service was out of operation, inefficient and slow, although the restaurant was less than half full. especially the starter took over minutes to appear and was a piece tasteless. pate en croute with a few salat leaves and a puppenspiel by chutney, who only took seconds to prepare. we suspected that the pate en croute had come from a local super market (can a runner have been sent to pick it up the main course, magret de canard, was better, but lukewarm as if it sat under the salamander for minutes, and dessert, tarte didin, was also half warm and halfhearted. Overall, I can't see why this place has rated so high on tripadvisor, let...

very nice and cozy. quiet terrace on the side, we went here and enjoyed it very much. we took two menus: everyone. we were served: longustine, foie grass, calf meat, lotte and dessert: cheese and meringue. excellent and tasteful dishes. very well balanced...and tasteful. white wine rully was good, the red wine arbois is not our cup tee. the service was young and inexperienced and a little on the messy side. as well as always, overall enjoyed the setting and the dishes. come with confidence here. total cost for a very nice evening: this is worth it!

I just ate in the beautiful, small, atmospheric restaurant. we went there because it was one of the few restaurants that were open on Sunday night. but I am so glad that it was open and that we did not miss a pleasant meal. the chef obviously has a great flair and style. we did not choose from the menu, but chose courses to fit.

Typical underground/basement restaurant in Dole. One I like to go to. Good cuisine, good menus. Friendly service and nice place to sit. Maybe five stars is just a bit too high. Certainly in Dole there are a few restaurants that score slightly better in the same price range. But nevertheless, I have always left here satisfied. a

The setting is charming down in the cellar although you do get that musty smell that can be off putting. The service was friendly but not particularly efficient. The food was well presented without any great originality. The flavours were all right the food looks...better than it tastes. On the whole a pleasant experience.

got into Dole on a Monday mid-day, French Holiday, and this restaurant was open; kids hungry, so we go in. we were not prepared for the great experience we had; kids enjoyed it, we enjoyed it, and overall we all had a very nice meal...for an affordable price by French standards. we were adults and kids.

We came in late for lunch on a Tues with adults and kids. The fixed menu is a really good deal. Excellent course lunch for euros. Can't get better than this in France.
