Au Coeur de l'Afrique is a delightful restaurant. The owners are friendly, the decorations (African art and photographs of African animals) are lovely (some stunning), and the food is quite good. I had a specialty kir made with kumquat liquor, delicious samosas for starter, (on the advice of the owner) beef dole for my main course, and (also on the advice of the owner) a taste South African pinotage to accompany. Everything was fresh, well presented, and really good. Menu is offered only in French, but owner speaks good English and can help with ordering.
Great food, we were four who went there for dinner beginning August 2017. Food was absolutely great, same for the cocktail. I would definitely come back although you need to plan in quite some time for the service. Great for a meal with friends or family if you want to stay the entire evening.
My apéro dînatoire, a real success, thank you very much for the restoration to Diane, the toasts of Chiguangue beef and confit vegetables as original as delicious, the mini coleslaw of burger salmon, the mini baba to rum a killing, my guests always talk about it until now
Diane is a fantastic private chef whom I highly recommend My birthday celebration with family and friends was exceptionally well done, and the lunch buffet, with its original touch in the dishes, was a hit with everyone.
