We arrived just before 7pm, the restaurant was not yet open, but we were showed to a table and were promptly served. The chef updated us with today's specials, and between our poor French and his much better English, we got our way though the menu. An exceptionally nice piece of beef with a lovely wine sauce and accompaniments for 13 euro. Half bottle of nice wine for 10 euro. Couldn't fault it. Lots of locals dropping in for their Friday night out suggests its reputation in the area is good. Takeaway pizza and other dishes also being prepared. Very good food, both quality and quantity, and good price all round.
very few people at the table at noon and a weekday... we were served by a waitress completely west and a little disused in his service. Forget some orders. obliged to repeat three times the choice of the next dish ! a little disappointed also by my pizza calzone that was well garnished inside, but with a lack of cooking inside is too cooked out !! disappointed also by my dessert to the chartreuse (well presented, but banal and tiny) in my sense it costs at least 2 euros too... yes to 7,50 € I expected to eat otherwise ! not sure ...
