"we stopped at au lion rouge on our trip to Italy. a big decision. a pleasant hotel with a first-class restaurant serving authentic dishes from Alsace. my wife had the callbsal, which was presented in a light creamy sauce with late zle. I decided for the meat bark stroganov perfectly cooked in disc quality bark in a rich dark sauce. a seasonal salate on basis of fennel came to say unnecessarily as we were in Alsace, these dishes had to be accompanied by the local weepings they were. a great sound and would definitely think to come back here."

We stopped off at Au Lion Rouge on our transit to Italy. A great decision. A pleasant hotel with a first rate restaurant serving authentic local Alsatian dishes. My wife had the veal which was presented in a light creamy sauce accompanied by spätzle. I opted for the beef stroganov perfectly cooked sliced quality beef in a rich dark sauce. This was accompanied by a seasonal salad based on fennel. Needless to say since we were in Alsace these dishes had to be accompanied by the local wines which they were. A great find and would definitely consider coming here again.
