my gf and I stumbled at this place on the way to a nearby city for the weekend. we have decided that it was worth a punt, as it was close to the usual midday. we were for a real deal. it is a historical building,...a small waterfall and river, embedded in the foothills that reach the Jura mountains. we wondered how the situation in the kitchen is still ready for use and were confirmed to sit further. other tables, especially from local moats, were already good in their meals, so we had most of the waiters during the meal. the main dining area surrounds a large open fireplace in the middle, above an old row of stone winding steps that lead to the underlying layers of the stone building. it has a cozy rural feeling, large wood furniture, leather clothing, brass decoration, everything very suitable for the mountain kitchen style they serve. on the way to eat, my gf had a terroir menu consisting of curses. (starter was a must of foie gras, a main amount of deenbrust with elaborately braided vegetables) while I had only one main guinea fowl, with the same sweet caramelized plant sauce. we accompanied our meal with mineral water and glasses by pinot noir. In addition, we had many small free amuse bouches, cookies and chocolcate with our coffee. total the bill on eur all-in for people. I would definitely recommend trying this place. it is also a hotel b

we're here for a night and dinner. we were welcomed. the team appears open and welcoming. quite pleasant. the equipment of the room was pretty good. but opposite the outside road was a bad idea. earrings are needed because the traffic. is very important, even after darkness, and the windows are not soundproof (or far enough). the restaurant was very good for one, less impressive for the other. since my spouse eats gluten-free, the choice was quickly limited (most of the sauces and preparations like the mushrooms are prepared and contain gluten). the GF information was very sufficient and the team was attentive, but this is really a reflection (they noticed the necessity, and brought common and GF bread in the same basket a large No-No for each person of a medical GF diet). not used to the problem, but ready to help. if you forget this GF problem, the choice in the menu was more than convenient. only one thing to note: check the à la carte prices before jumping to the menu the menu is not always cheaper, depending on which courses they choose. unusual to say at least.

Went for lunch with my wife and daughters. Service was young, efficient and very welcoming. Foie gras as starter was very good and quite a big portion. Can be shared. The trout is their speciality and very delicately prepared.Came with a peeled cooked tomato.Gratin and a...variety of sauces.Beef was also excellent. Desserts were excellent.Loved the creme brulée and nougat. Unfortunately was driving so couldn't try the wine but they promote the Jura region. Excellent value for money. Worth a stop if in this part of France.
