This is a very nice bakery serving the usual morning fare that you'll find in any bakery - croissants, pains au chocolat etc. But you can find the same in many other places. Near the Mercure there is the Leclerc shopping centre which has café-bars serving breakfast and a Flunch fast food outlet, and a McDonalds. Some of those can also do you a good coffee and breakfast if you don't want to eat at the Mercure. Mc Donalds probably does the best coffee, BTW.
The Pain au D'Or is a small bakery near the Mercure we normally stay at in Alencon. While it osn'ta restaurant, it is agreta little breakfast spot. MUCH cheaper than a Mercure breakfast and the raisin Danish are WONDERFUL! Parking's no problem so it's handy for anyone heading back to the motorway. If staying at the Mercure, turn right and head into town. It's on the left about 1km towards town.
I was passing through here and what a pleasure to fall on a bakery of this kind where the value ratio is top! Just a small flat, the little seller slips the towel inside the food so it's dirty and doesn't serve much.
I stop there as soon as I can, my favorite Viennese, the chocolate briochette!!!! Everything is good, bread, salad, wraps and a very good welcome, always with a smile! Reserva una mesa ahora
Very good bread so good know how to make. Friendly welcome and gourmet pastries. Easy parking. Anyway, a craftsman like you like them. Let's protect them.
Very good sandwiches that fits well! There's a lot of choice. On the other hand, very little practical to park there especially on a noon time.
Like under $7 for this amazing sandwich.. crazy good!! The girls are so friendly and love to joke around!! Just a great place for lunch
