staying at the hotel above, we stopped in this pretty little restaurant. surprise: locals had booked a table for a family dinner, which is often good sign (restaurant of the hotel but not that). a courteous and diligent service, a minimum card that lets suppose fresh and homemade products, which our palace confirmed. glass wines and good advice from the waiter for the met/vin agreement. Thanks to the team and the breakfast. The hotel also has an adjacent pizzeria that we have not tested, as well as a large terrace that must be nice to the beautiful days.
a lunch between colleagues in a restaurant I didn't know and it was a nice discovery. Ideal location, elegant and friendly decor, smiling staff. A formula with choice (week noon) at a rate defying any competition with in addition a fast service. In the plate, a feast! imagine a grilled salmon net with a curcuma and orange cream, or a lamb tajin with caramelized vegetables and to finish on a sweet note, a delicious caramel cabbage or a succulent orange pie.I'm sure, I'll go back. Maybe we'll cross it.
Squeezed in .. last table by kitchen.... amazing to watch the professionals at work! The food was delicious, plat du jour fantastic value, filled with locals. Loved the atmosphere....we stayed for lunch and saw the pace adapt once mania subsided....get there early but if you want to appreciate what is going on behind the scenes go inside! Loved it!
perfect small hotel in the city center of saumur. the rooms could be refreshed but the reception is charming and the value ratio is more than satisfactory. the staff is friendly, welcoming and convenient.

We have come several times for lunch or dinner and have never been disappointed. prices are very correct and delicious dishes. the staff is smiling and very pro. We recommend to this restaurant.
Lovely food and ambiance. Great lunch with our retrievers outside, water for the dogs. Friendly and some English spoken.
The food was good, but the staff were exceedingly and unnecessarily rude. Not an experience that I would recommend.
