Auberge Communale de Berolle

I found the service very friendly and accommodating. We chose to come at a last moments notice and their kitchen was open well beyond the typical Swiss time which was relaxing not to have to stress through our meal. The food came quickly and was very good. The menu is on chalk board which shows it changes regularly depending on availability which i find is always a nice touch. The food was very nicely presented and the balance of flavour was well done. Good recommendation !

From the outside, the Auberge de Bérolle is unassuming. However, once you see the choices of home made food the unassuming aspect of the place is meaningless. And wait until the food arrives and you taste it, you will will melt with pleasure. I had the basic daily menu: Wild Boar Roastbeef followed by an amazing, trout, Yes Trout, hamburger and for pudding Home made icecream with a hint of Grand Marnier! This place is a MUST for anyone visiting the region.

A very good surprise and an incomparable quality price. It's simply high-end at an affordable price for everyone. The service is impeccable and fast. The waitress (patroness) is cheerful, a real and social person. I recommend and will definitely go back.
