My wife & I intended to have lunch here after riding up the Verclause gorge from Malaucene. When we arrived at 13:00 hrs there were only 2 or 3 tables occupied. We leant our bikes up against a wall near an empty table on the terrace, but were instructed by a waitress to move them. So we leant them against a different wall outside of the terrace area. But apparently that wasn't acceptable to her either.She wanted us to put them in the car park down the hill (she's obviously never tried walking any distance in cleated road shoes), or round the back of the building across the road (where we wouldn't be able to keep an eye on them)!At this point one of the few other customers, who happened to be...

We arrived to a friendly welcome and a warm day and sat on the terrace. Drinks orders were taken and food order and both arrived promptly. Food was excellent, tasty, well cooked and beautifully presented. There was a good selection of vegetables on the plate that had been cooked and prepared in varied and interesting ways. I would revisit in a moment!
Have been here several times over the years and it's as good as ever. Three hot and sweaty cyclists had a lovely table overlooking the valley, ate the menu de jour (various starters, Guinea fowl and dessert, washed down with beer and rose, for €90. Best lunch we have had in France this holiday.

This is a review for the restaurant.We had a very nice meal on the shaded terrace looking out over the valley.Very beautiful spot.Interesting menu, some dishes from Corsica and Morocco.Food was good & flavoursome.Staff were friendly and very helpful.Booking essential.

A real pleasure to eat in this excellent auberge, no frills, no stars, just very good local fare at a price for most pockets. Whether you are biking, hiking or driving in this part of France, reserve a table, you will not be deceived.

We stopped here for lunch on our way through the mountains. The service and food were both excellent. Outdoor dining with a spectacular view. The hostess was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
