Auberge de Chaulin

Hands down the best meal we had during our two week trip to Switzerland (close second: Eidgenossen steakhouse in Brig). The food was incredible, as was the setting. The restaurant is run by a wife (chef) husband (waiter) combo that was well in sync. Pretty much everything was locally sourced! We took the train up from Montreux Gare and it's a short walk down to the restaurant. 100% worth the visit. The view is unforgettable. Make sure to get a table on the terrace or the front room.

Great food and excellent service. The husband explained menu in great detail to us and we picked the prawns for appetizer, lamb and beef for main course and everything was so tasty! It was the best meal we had during our trip in Switzerland.

Very good cozy restaurant with home made cooking, excellent fois gras, even the lemon sorbet is made here. I had a delicious souris d'agneau with home made spatzlei that I liked very much. Highly recommended, thank you.
