Auberge De La Madelon

We had booked 15 days in advance, made 50km of detour on our very short we in the Vosges to eat there. That's how we trusted the opinions we read. When we arrived, the welcome was nice, the place is nice. We were installed near the entrance door and had to have lunch in the airflow (3 degrees outside, no other table to give us. The quality of the meal is really not at the rendezvous, the meat was hard (21€ all the same! . the burger more beautiful than good... we didn't expect a great gastronomy but we wanted to have lunch in a typical good hostel, unfortunately it missed!

Very good and beautiful hostel, lots of charm. Good products very well cooked, flames are excellent, homemade desserts (rare). Friendly welcome and chefs go to the table, very friendly. Come on.

If you are lovers of toasted pies it is the one you have to go, lovers of artisanal beers, you will enjoy the madelon.
