Auberge De La Porte

We had not booked and came upon the restaurant late, about 1300hrs. on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was all but full. When we asked for a table the waitress had to go and ask the chef, he decided that he could manage two more so we were in. From what we saw the menu is extensive including an open wood fire upon which meats, particularly pork were being grilled. However tripes a la Caen was on the menu so there was no doubt as to what I would order. The food was simple but very good and the service and ambience excellent.

This inn, discovered by chance, at the end of the world but what makes its particularity, has become our little corner of paradise. We are always very well received (especially our dog). The owners are charming and gourmet and hearty cuisine.

the sceanery was the best thing about this resturant.The service was terrible the starter was full of hairs. Returns the starter 3 times. The owner did not apoligise. Visited many resturants in France this was the worst experience every.

Perfect place to try French food and hospitality beautiful the fresh meats just melt in your mouth and for the more adventurous they serve fresh enteral sausage all the food is fresh beautifully cooked and the setting is perfect Reserva una mesa ahora

Don't you have that club card yet? You can exchange your dishes with your spouse. They're all delicious! dishes are united with the smile of the hostess: fresh products for family dishes. like a couple, no private trade jokes)

We had looked forward to this meal and it surpassed our expectations. The lady who greeted us was charming and friendly. The food was delicious and rustic just what we wanted. All in all a very special experience
