Auberge De La Scierie

We have stayed in this lovely rustic hotel many, many times over the years and look forward to each visit. The grounds are lovely (there is a pool) and perfect for a nice dog walk, the rooms comfortable...but the dinner is where you would travel WAY out of the way for. Every dinner has been nothing less than perfect...right down to the fabulous dessert in the shape of a swan swimming on a puddle of creme. The chef is 5 !

This is a little slice of Paradise in the French countryside. Chef Eddy was once the head chef at the Savoy in London. You will experience cuisine at its finest at very reasonable prices in an ambience unmatched. There is a small 3 star hotel with very nice rooms, again, very reasonably priced. Located on a couple of acres, creeks running through the property, lightly forested. Truly, a slice of Paradise

Very pleasant and relaxing setting, without hesitation. Our room had a terrace which overlooked the hotel swimming pool (unfortunately not in operation at the time of our visit). The room was ok although the cleaning could have been improved, but we slept well. On the other hand, the welcome from the managers is cold and does not make you feel at ease at all, which is a shame.
