Auberge De Landecy

A friend and I went to the Auberge for a long overdue lunch. The restaurant is very nice and has a gorgeous terrace. The town is small so there is little traffic on the road; hence a great setting where one can talk. Service is excellent. There were two choices for the plat du jour as well as the full menu. I had the rabbit which was copious, well cooked and very tasty. Weather was too warm for wine so we opted for a Swiss draft beer. Dessert was good. I had the cheese cake.

I have been there twice within a month. Service is friendly and efficient and food is very good. Difficult to find a place with such a large variety of fishes on the menu. Desserts are also worth a try even if you are not a big fan (as I am). All that for a relatively soft price at GVA standard. If you can wait a few weeks you will even enjoy there lovely terrace.

I had a confirmed reservation with The Fork on Friday afternoon. I was called today Saturday, one hour before dinner, to tell me they couldn’t honour the reservation. This no way to treat people. I will never try to go back to this restaurant

We had a great business lunch, the proposed menu was great. The restaurant has a nice authentic countryside atmosphere. I will go back when I'm in the area....

Everything was excellent. Food, service, farewell. Children friendly. A great choice for Sunday dinner with the family in a beautiful garden...
