It's at random one of our hikes, that day in the rain, that we passed in front of this atypical inn, open only during the school holidays and which serves a unique dish, from 12 to 15h, the omelette of the mother clotilde, plus tartes houses and/or cheeses of the country. we entered and the decor was at the height of the heidi chalet; clotilde welcomes us with a huge costume in Vosgien under the rhythm of the accordion that passes in loop. the salad omelet is a copycat; drinks at very reasonable prices. Very warm clotilde would gladly agree to speak to you about his region. An unknown address to be discovered to spend a good time with a wonderful lady.
I fell in love with this inn with two very friendly ladies, I didn't want an omelette but I fell in love with the inn and the two sisters. Thank you again for this change of scenery and this atypical side which made me dream. As for the food, a good, big omelette with a good green salad is certainly a bit high in price but good for two ladies of a certain age and a home-made dish that didn't bother me because at least we knew what we were going to eat. Take care of yourselves ladies
it's nothing to compare with. the ambiente, madame clothilde the service and and and and.It is simply a must to enjoy this wonderful omelett at madame clothilde. a sweet fresh salad to the omlette, a wonderful red or white wine round off the cache almost, because the homemade blueberry cake makes it complete.I have given it here juli 2016, but we were already more often in this local. for us must be included if we are in the vogesen.(Note opening times)
When we arrived in the Vosges we didn't know too much where to go to eat because it was a little late. So we made a stop at the hostel to go back to where we were greeted by a very nice lady dressed in a local costume, it seems that time had stopped a little. the mushroom and bacon omelet kept its promises a pure treat. only for the calm and serene atmosphere it was worth a visit.Thank you again for this good moment of calm and kindness.

the mother clotilde and her cottage, her omelette with wood mushrooms and lardon, her music and her unique .plat , possibility of dessert (trees houses) and/or cheese. A very special place to see if you are hungry, the omelet portions are gargantuesque ... but at 15€ per person (salade included :-)
A magnificent chalet located on the shores of Lac de Retournemer. Only one dish, Mother Clothilde’s omelette, excellent. Succulent seasonal fruit tarts. I recommend!!
