We were in heaven at this restaurant. It 's quite classically French at its heart but with some innovative and modern twists, so is very different from any ordinary, good quality French restaurant. I have been to Alsace many times now and this is the best meal I have had there, hands down. In addition to our three course menu we were given an amuse bouche starter which was a small glass bowl of what was essentially a deconstructed tarte flambee. Deconstructed can be hit and miss but frankly I wanted to go into the kitchen and just do a face plant into a giant bowl of this, it was so amazing. We enjoyed an outstanding meal at the Auberge du Brand. The service and food were excellent. Although the menu is limited to 3 or 4 options for each course, we were both pleased with our choices, pate en croute, and duck followed by an imaginative chocolate dessert for my husband and white asparagus followed by the fish of the day and 5 cheeses for me. The €30 for 2 courses and €39 for 3 courses included very interesting amuse bouches. We had a lovely evening in this small and friendly restaurant and would love to return. As there are only 8 tables, booking is recommended.

Wonderful meal in a small restaurant! We were treated to two amuse-bouche which were surprising and delicious. There were two prix fixe options, one with dessert and one without. I had the pate entree with a lettuce ! mousse which was delicious. For dinner I had sausage with ham and sauerkraut which was served sort of like a chimichanga. It was very creative and very good. The service was relaxed, friendly and fun. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This is a must. The food was exceptional, the service attentive and helpful. Anywhere else this would be a hatted restaurant.

We took the menu for lunch amazing for 16 euros! Everything is delicate and well cooked ! Very friendly service !
