Auberge du Chateau

The restaurant was highly recommended by the owner of our accommodation. The old school house is nicely furnished and has interesting old class photos. It was Tuesday night and not very busy so the atmosphere was perhaps not as cheerful as usual. There was only one other couple dining inside with us. There is a set menu of the day and it is generally for the whole week and what the owner could buy locally. It was well presented and tasty and the local wine accompanied it well. The owner is very cordial and provided a description of the dishes we were having.

a warm welcome gives the tone on this welcoming place which, in all simplicity, offers a hotel flowering good authenticity and comfort, as at home.Bedrooms well-kept, sanitary very clean. The restoration will not leave anyone indifferent. the cook succeeds in sublimating local products for a very decent price. The service is at the height: simple, cordial, discreet and present without being invasive.Thank you for this good stay and certainly...to the next time.

products are of quality. However on the dishes we took:-andouillette, served with lentils and potatoes! a little salad instead of lentils (or potatoes) would have been less heavy. -side of the hiker: a little light in quantity.-gâteau à l'orange excellentl accueil est courteois. However, we were invited to eat outside because of the presence of our dog. which can be understood, but that passes medium well when you are the only customers.
