My sister and I enjoyed one of the best meals of our lives here. We started with a great (very fairly priced) bottle of bordeaux, and a complimentary truffle mushroom soup which we'd have happily each paid $15 for! We shared the fois gras appetizer,...and the mackerel appetizer, both of which were great and the latter of which included a scoop of mustard sorbet that was surprisingly and insanely good. I opted for the kidneys for my main. They were cooked perfectly and came with a sweet carrot foam which paired perfectly. This is the only 1star Michelin in Bayonne and it deserves in my opinion 2 stars. The place had every table occupied and we were lucky to get a place as we only booked at 19.00hrs. The food was really excellent and the service was...superb also as was the wine list. The chef met with diners and he told us that he had worked in some of France's most famous kitchens where he clearly learned a lot. The flavours are delicate and he used subtle tastes to great effect. I look forward to going here again and on our return from Spain we even thought of making a 150km detour just to enjoy another meal.
A Bayonne institution! Congratulations to you Mr. Tellechea for your career and to have raised Bayonne and the Basque country in the Basque gastronomic reference! A kitchen today from the market but the touch of the star chef is there! Everything is good and a Basque generosity. Ps: I ate my best ham (from Bayonne) butter here

An institution I’ve been hearing about for a long time and had fun discovering thanks to my friend Cecile. A treat for eyes and taste buds and a very friendly welcome! Thanks to Chief Tellechea and his wife for this good time. I strongly recommend you to book because the hotel is very often complete!
Good reception, neat decoration, we appreciate the white tablecloth and cloth towel. The service is of quality. From the fun moves through the entrance and the dish to the dessert we really enjoyed. The dessert is probably the highlight of this restaurant.
Large-class restaurant, ideal as a couple for example and lovers of good cuisine. Intimate and discreet frame. Located in the center of Bayonne, not easy to find parking place especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
The dishes are rich and very refined. New flavors for an excellent time spent at the white horse hostel. Thanks to the bosses (Mr and Mrs) who took their time to exchange with us. I recommend!
