As has been previously, stated the menu is largely based on locally sourced sea food, though the owners will get in special orders if given notice. This is why I had the pleasure of lobster for my main course as a special treat for a special day.The rather plain exterior hides a comfortable, functional interior decor. However, if one arrives early enough for a meal one can be rewarded with a table overlooking the bay with its mussel beds and views of the sun setting over the bay.English is spoken by the hosts though not fluently. Nevertheless, conversation is possible and always done with humour that adds to the friendly atmosphere. They are prepared to go that extra bit to make one's meal enjoyable as in the case of my birthday dessert that was decorated with the most enormous sparkler.One will gather from this that the food is good, well cooked and very good value.Though off the beaten track and catering mainly for the locals, it is well worth British visitors making the extra effort. You will not be disappointed.
If you are looking for somewhere serving good fresh sea food with fab views out to sea - this is for you. We went in May and managed to get a table without booking, but during the busy season, I would expect you would need to book. Food quality is as you would expect for a restaurant on the sea front, service is fine but do not expect a great command of English (as it should be in France). Wine menu is okay but the house wine is very acceptable. So go, eat, drink, chill and watch the sun set.
