Ce soir nous avons dîner en couple dans ce restaurant, les plats sont succulents, les assiettes copieusement garnies et bien présentées. Une véritable révélation pour les papilles. Un service impeccable, agréable et à l'écoute avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Nous avons pris deux salades de chèvre de chaud, galette gratinée avec des légumes frais de saison savoureux et goutu, et une éffeuillade de bœuf 160g une vraie merveilles pour le palais fondant en bouche et d'une légèreté un véritable plaisir de dégustation. Le tout accompagné de frites maison. Nous avons terminés avec de la glace fruits rouges et fruits du soleil, et citron vert 57% de fruits. Un incroyable délice. Merci à la Chef et à P...

Popped in here on the off chance, we were the first to arrive thought it wouldn’t be busy for a Thursday No sooner had we ordered the restaurant began to fill up Had Salad Perigourdine Salad and my hug had the Salade Chèvre Chaud both good and tasty, sweet crepes to finish off Other choices on the menu, one at E20:00 another E25:90 also meat and fish selection A very pleasant meal, passed this places a few times, glad we stopped this time If in the area check out the website first as in France not open every lunch, when they are it’s usually 12:00-1:30 evening different Give it a go

We stopped by looking for a traditional French farm style lunch, of which there don’t seem to be many locally... What an absolute find! We checked the reviews before and ventured in. We all had the meat and fish set menu. It was well worth it in quality and price! The food is incredible and the service was wonderful, so welcoming, especially with our broken French. 4 adults and 2 kids under 4, it’s very much a family friendly atmosphere. Could not recommend highly enough, if you are in the region, you should visit.

Very good food and lots of it! Had a fish/sea food starter, which was rich and tasty, main of galette with ham cheese and potato filling and a melange of deserts which was simply divine and clearly homemade! Cannot fault anything, excellent.

Friendly, unpretentious, good value and good food. The galettes are where it's at: all are good, hearty and tasty. No trip to Vanxains is complete without a meal (or two or three) to this treasure. Recommended.
