Driving down the D5 to Cherveix Cubas you will find the restaurant at the ’T’ Junction with the D704 and situated on the bend just across the River Auvezere. There is parking behind the restaurant although it is not too obvious nor is it well sign-posted but there is also plenty of free parking at the side of the D5 opposite.As you enter it has a modern contemporary and clean feel with black tiled floor, to the side there is an extremely spacious and light filled conservatory area overlooking the river bank. We stumpled upon this little gem of a restaurant while drive to a wedding destination a few miles from here. The menu was simple and good and me , my wife and our daughter had different starters and main courses. We are now eating the desert while I write this and the whole family is smiling and laughing. So if you are driving by or thinking of a cozy and friendly place to eat. search no more and come over.
One of our favourite places to eat. Always a warm, friendly welcome, lovely choice of fresh, beautifully cooked, food and at extremely good prices! We take all our visitors who also love it. Not only are we regular clients but we send all our b and b guests for the short stroll along the river. They love it too and frequently return! Well done, Cyril and Tanja!
Really good food. English speaking staff. Very clean and modern with amazing view over the river. Child friendly but great for couples too.Serves pints of beer.We had Plat du jour which was fantastic.Food very reasonable with great selection.Loads of parking. Will be definitely coming back to this hidden gem.

Excellent service. Great food and great value. Took friends for the first time and they were very impressed as was I. We will definitely be going back in the very near future. Lots of praise and well deserved.
I have eaten here many times now as the food and the customer service excellent. The husband and wife team are very welcoming and I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Really enjoyed dining here, good food beautiful view, the owners were very friendly gave great service and spoke English, definately worth a visit.
