Auberge Du Port Boulet

We called in here as we have often passed by and always fancied a visit. We did at lunchtime and was first customers in. We were welcomed by the owner and shown to our table. The starter was a cold buffet with a good varied choice on offer. For main we chose a Marocan dish of chicken. Each came in its own small tagine which was piping hot and delicious, washed down with a pitcher of red wine. Desert we chose ice cream which ended a delightful lunch.

This is a truck-stop and very popular with truckers. The food is always excellent value and well prepared. Mme is always friendly and attentive. IF you are looking for something good and of good value but not fine dining then stop off for a fill-up !
