Auberge Du Rempart

Eguisheim is a lovely little village. Great to walk, to taste some wine and to get some good food. And there are plenty of options to have lunch or dinner.Just at the eastern end of the historic center you'll find this Auberge. We didn't stay here (they got rooms), but had some lunch outside on that sunny day. Lots of tables outside under the sun (and some umbrellas). Our Bulldog was welcome as well.Ordered two glasses of local white wine, escargots, Foie Gras (mi-cuit) and Flammkuchen with Munster cheese.The white wine was was nice, typically for Alsace on the sweeter side, but matched well with the tasty and smooth Foie Gras. we know the place for a long time and have never been disappointed either by the reception or by the excellent dishes, however we were able to notice that the prices were a little high, which does not remove anything from our satisfaction

four very pleasant days in this hostel. the smile, availability, kindness were at the rendezvous. room and bathroom very clean. A varied breakfast and good Viennese foods that didn't spoil anything! in summary, we recommend warmly.

I'm having dinner with the family this week. the terrace frame is really great! It is quiet and authentic. the quality of the dishes is worth the detour whether it is the map or the dishes of the moment. service is also very good!
