Lots of parking opposite this old roadside place. Pleasantly appointed dining room with well spaced tables. Friendly welcome from the lady owner whose husband is in the kitchen. Short but inventive menus; we ate a la carte and appreciated the focus and accuracy of the cooking: delicious, interesting but without too many 'twists '. Madame steered us knowledgeably through the wine list; service was well paced and professional while the cost was extremely reasonable for this level of cooking. We 'd go back tonight if we could.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at this beautiful restaurant. We chose a set August lunch menu. The food was superb and the service really excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable.
