This is a Cultural Experience. Be sure to reserve, because this dish takes 5 hours to cook! Basically a sauerkraut-type of meal, with three kinds of meat, cabbage, carrots, and potatoes, and the farz or stuffing of buckwheat, which gets cooked in the same pot, wrapped in a cloth. Haute gastronomie this isn 't, but it is stick-to-your-ribs delicious, just the right thing for a wintry day. But the topping is a visit to the on-site museum, accompanied by Mamie LeLenn, the owner and founder of Youdig. It 's the story of this unique part of rural Brittany, where she has recreated the village razed to make room for the (now closed) Brennilis nuclear reactor.
