"We came with friends who had eaten here before. The restaurant is a good find for us as it in an area that we don't regularly visit, but is only 30 minutes from where we live. The lunch we chose was the menu du jour. There is no choice, unusually, but the food was very good. The ambience was nice and the restaurant was nicely presented.I think we will give the restaurant a visit in the evenings and try their a la carte menu.This si definitely somewhere where we will eat again."

First visit , the place does not look that inviting from outside , but then it is a real French Restaurant , deep into the country side and what wonderful food they served , have done many reveiws and this food was some of the best € 24 to 38 € munu , but for € 24 you will have trouble eating it all unless you are very greedy , think for that price there was about five courses Magret stuffed with Foi gras unbelievable , knocked spots of some **** and ***** star places we have eaten at . Think the busy time is Sunday lunch French way - the plates are cold , and you have to use knives and forks for all courses , and the plates are overflowing with food , too much for me , two dished were enough

A Gascon restaurant that offers not only good wholesome food, but large portions.They offer a carte, but the menu du jour at 14€ including wine (red only) is a very good choice. Typical for a restaurant in this region the menu is meat oriented, but well cooked and nicely presented.The restaurant is large and can get full at peak times, at these times I would imagine it will be noisy, but our visit, lunchtime in mid-week was not. I suspect you need to book if you wanted a Sunday lunch or other busy time.There is also a large space for parking, and the place is easy to find as its the only eatery in the village.A good place to eat and we have already arranged our next visit.
