From the outside, it looks like a thousand other village restos, you take your chances. Well, take the chance, you won't regret it. There is no a la carte, each day the husband creates the menu from the shoppings that morning. Always fresh, thus. You get a five course meal, his wife does all the serving, and the service was great. As was the food; soup, mousse fois gras, pork tenderloin, cheese and dessert. Friends have all said they are always pleasantly surprised and never disappointed, we agree. Superb, three people with wine for €51. Get real. Get there. Wise to make a reservation.
2023. The lady in the room is friendly, smiling and efficient. The setting is nice and comfortable. As for the chef, here is one who deserves this appellation. Excellent, inventive cuisine based on fresh, local produce. Restaurant discovered too late this year (holidays) but next year we will be there regularly. Thank you for everything. 2024. As promised we are back. Always a pleasure ! If gastronomic perfection exists, it is almost achieved here.
As this is a local restaurant for me I am very disappointed to have been turned away on 4 occasions being told the restaurant is fully booked. Each occasion it was about 1pm and there were several empty tables including outside tables unset and a couple eating outside so obviously they do serve outside.
Excellent address for tasting regional specialties. Possibility of à la carte menus but also daily menu (very copious). Friendly welcome. Reservations strongly recommended. Address that I keep carefully in my favorites book.

"Chez Paul" is a fine place to have lunch or dinner.
