A restaurant that we use regularly on trips to Rochefort en Terre. This is a restaurant and hotel that is run by a husband and wife team. Isobel is a delightful person that speaks excellent English having lived in the UK for a period. A...very child friendly place as the couple have their own young. daughter. The restaurant building wonderful having been tastefully and well restored and the hotel offers an outside swimming pool. Food is priced reasonably but you should restrain from ordering a well done steak!
The Restaurant is also a small Hotel, Our family regularly have meals here. The owners are friendly and Isobel speaks excellent English. The Food is what you would expect done at a price and always something interesting. Local produce in a very lovely French establishment....There is also a Pool for those staying. Other family members have stayed and having looked around the rooms they are better than some more expensive Hotels nearby. Try it for lunch always a usual set menus.
A l oree de la tres belle cite de rochefort en terre ce petit hotel merite l etape . Acceuil exceptionnel le sourire de la patronne et son energie font deja du bien . Chambre d une extreme proprete de gout simple mais charmant large ecran tv calme . Piscine chauffee dans l hotel! Le restaurant attenant propose une carte simple de qualite correcte amateurs de tripes ou d andouillette frites maison . La encore simplicite et qualite des plats . Une etape que je recommande
to the evening meal in the auberge, while we were reachable on foot in Rochefort-en-Terre. meal was good, though I think that a cook who asks how they want her steak, but then don't cook as they want is arrogant. we thought the quality was not as good as le pelican or l’ancolie in rochefort. the fixed menu is very good, but when we went a la carte, it was not cheaper than they were. we have been looking for a place where we can sleep properly and relax. this is 100% a place for it. Eating is fantastic. make sure. “Tripes”. the best from France. our car went out of petrol and they helped us get the petrol. the more breathing. the village is really beautiful and it is really good to visit rochefort en terre. they will not claim.
Une bonne table, simple sans fioritures inutiles, les tripes vraiment bonnes et préparées comme il le faut, servies bien chaudes un seul bémol des frites en accompagnement j'aurais préféré des pommes de terre natures ou une petite purée.Mes amies ont mangées des moules qui étaient parfaites, nous retourneront dans cette auberge.
Très bon établissement de charme.Nous avons eu une des chambres du dernier étage rénovée avec goût. L'accueil y est très chaleureux et on ressent la volonté des propriétaires d'offrir le meilleur pour ses clients.La qualité de la restauration en est un très bon exemple. Les produits sont frais et locaux.
Tout était bien : l'accueil, la propreté, la chambre, le dîner et la piscine.N'ayant pas l'habitude de séjourner dans une auberge, nous avons été très agréablement surpris d'avoir d'aussi belles prestations avec un tres bon rapport qualité prix .
