they think about frankly and pictures of magnificent culinary delights early to think, the epicentre of gourmet cuisine, a kaleidoscope of the aromen with a hauch of je ne sais quoi. After spending two weeks holiday with our Gallic neighbours, I was constantly surprised by the poor quality eating and even poorer service we encountered. this place made my vacation lights roll, come at the 2nd worse place where we dived (I am still traumatized by the 1st and not yet checked it). mont stele is a beautiful place, and a day look is a pleasant activity, but it can be very busy, and there is a lot to foot, so tired and hungry we passed on this quirky looking place and entered our appetit. big mista...

that seemed to be the restaurant that most people also go, so we decided to go here, after a quick look at the menu outside, we thought that this would be great for all of us as it had a lot. our server spoke English...(bonus) but then he changed to another server that apparently did not speak English. the language barrier was difficult, as he did not attempt to help or understand us. he has always put menus on the table as a placemat, although this annoyed our small child. I took his place to take him out of my hands, and then put him back in front of my small child who then wept. that was miserable for us as a parent, because that should have been a nice meal. eating that came out was very...

This was literally the worst meal I have ever had in a restaurant in France. Please note, I am tolerant and don't give many bad reviews. My partner had pizza and it was almost inedible. I had steak bearnaise, which was a dreadful, thin, tough, overcooked piece of meat with cold bearnaise sauce served in a tiny plastic cup like ketchup. To make matters worse, I got quite sick to my stomach the next day and as this was the only real meal I ate all day, I believe it was the cause. While we were dining, the hostess tried to start a fire in the nearby fireplace, using broken paperboard from the kitchen - burning trash, essentially - and it filled our area with smoke since it was wet. One amusing...

We ate at this restaurant 2 days in a row, being that we stayed on the island. For our first visit we split an omelet and salad. The omelet was a plain egg omelet, no fillinigs, e.g., cheese, ham, etc. This was good / average. For our next visit we selected from the formula menu, 3 items for a price: salad, entree, and dessert. For the entrees we had the steak and the chicken - M-I-S-T-A-K-E. The salad average, the steak was chewy and tough, the chicken was mostly dark meat with little to no meat, and the dessert, an apple tart with caramel sauce was good. All and all, not a good value nor was it tasty or filling.

We actually stopped here 3 times during our day at MSM! Firstly for a drink after our long way from the car park when we were so hot and thirsty and it was the first place we thought looked nice. We returned a little later for an ice cream after our walk up to the abbey and ate those on the walls looking at the view. Later again, we realised that alot of other places had closed but we were waiting for a 9pm tide decided to have crepes for dinner and this was the only place open so went again and the crepes were good.

Really nice looking but misleading. If you like microwave dinners, then this is the place. My wife and I had dinner when things were caming down. I had pizza and she had a steak. To our surprise the food was served well within 5 minutes. And when eating it, it was clearly microwaved. To pay a full price for such a dinner was disappointing

Popped in here to get away from the madding crowd on Mount St Michel. Very nice dining room atmosphere, polite and attentive service. Menu was varied with use of local produce. Can recommend the moules mariniere and local cider served in cups. Prices not too expensive either considering the location. Thoroughly recommend.

We went to dinner at this restaurant, one of the only ones open for dinner at Mont S. Michel. Typical decoration, but little care Impersonal but effective service We chose to eat moules a la mariniere. They weren't bad but they weren't wonderful either. Cost...60 euros, a bit expensive for the meal

We were running late and most dining finishes at 10pm . Went into this restaurant and had a great vegetarian (spaghetti with side of ratatouille). Service was good and friendly. Wines nice. Prices a tad high but it's a captive audience. Recommended.
