Ate here for dinner as every where else was full or closed for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. I had the three course meal and my husband had the four. Oysters, mussels, steak and fries, rack of lamb cheese and creme brûlée and profiteroles. Mussels were a bit sandy but great flavors. Great to dip baguette in. Steak wasn't the best cut but was tasty. Lamb was really good and veggies accompanying it were terrific. There were only a few waiters for the whole place so they are running around crazy. Delay between dinner and dessert but understandable and we had nowhere to be anyways. We had a bottle of red wine for 18 euro as well as a bottle of cider for 12 euro and a bottle of tap water overall we expected it would be really pricey and it wasn't that bad 111euros all together.

We were a traveling group of 14 from the US, and loved this place because of its charming, old-world nature. It's windows and unique rooms were so much fun. The rooms were nice, widows opening over the main walk way. It was close to the island's entrance, and as such, was good for our group as some could not walk as well up the steep paths. The hotel did not have an elevator and the rooms were on the third floor. The breakfast was very nice, and the service was very good. I am still remembering fondly that night, sleeping with the windows open looking up to the Abby.

We stayed at the hotel one night, and got the demi pension option. So glad we did because the food saved the hotel stay. The rack of lamb was delicious, as was the ratatouille, the cheese and the desserts. The foie gras was served way too cold, and the wine was not great. Still, the service was fast and friendly (both! In France!) and we had a good evening. I would even say it was some of he better food we had in France. The hotel I would not recommend, burg the restaurant, yes.

I really have nothing positive to say about this tourist-trap. The service was horrible, the pizza I ordered from the poor menu was directly from the freezer, the wine was warm and served without water, and on top of it all, the prices were sky-high. I will recommend that you look at restaurants on the north side of the island, they looked ok.
