This hotel gives you the chance to stay on Mont St Michel itself which is a must. It's pretty basic, clean, simple but the beds are clean and comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. It's expensive for what it is but then everything on the Mont is more expensive than the norm for obvious reasons. Reception staff were welcoming enough, we had a few beers in the cafe downstairs in the early evening they didn't open the restaurant when we were there so we ate in La Mere Poulard down the road. The hotel have a car park which you pay for on the main land, they will give you an access code on request. You get a free shuttle bus from there to the Mont whxih takes about in total from car to hote...
I'm a little shocked at the reviews regarding the food at this restaurant. For my part, my darling and I, coming from Paris, appreciated the taste of the meals served as well as the quality of service from the staff! Very friendly, welcoming and warm knowing that it is a place full of tourists. Lively Atypical restaurant. Overall we are very satisfied. PS: access to (clean) toilets upon consumption, otherwise you have to pay 1€
the frame is authentic, the service is friendly. From the outset, it is estimated that it is expensive but, by comparison, much less than the other restaurants and we don't run out in the rain. there's always room and all the specialties of the mountain.
In general, as a hotel, you can spend one night, the breakfast is typical for France. On the plus side, it is possible to have time to see everything in the morning without a crowd of tourists.

this was one of the restaurants that served us after, resting everything was closed. we were in a hurry and asked them to serve us faster, what they did immediately.
only relatively correct place to eat on Mont Saint-Michel. When you really need to get some warm, the fireplace, the welcome and the atmosphere are nice.
the rooms are expensive but of character. sleeping on the island is an experience that has no price it was worth it!
