Austin Grill Springfield

I along with my husband, toddler, and mother decided to grab an easy Friday night dinner here. While the food wasn’t bad (wasn’t spectacular either although our experience may have clouded our judgement), we experienced some pretty poor service from some of the wait staff. When we saw that our main courses were about to be delivered, I started gathering up the platters and plates from our appetizers (wings, queso, chips, etc) and I had them stacked in front of me to make room on the table. Those of you that have dined with a toddler know that space is limited when you’re trying to play keep away with hot plates and small hands. The service at this restaurant was fantastic and the food was delicious. The menu and atmosphere are diverse, offering a solid selection of Southwestern dishes with some additional options. I particularly enjoyed the original wings grilled to perfection and added some hot sauce for an extra kick. The highlight of the experience was the attentive and friendly server. I definitely plan on returning in the future.

The beer and chips and salsa were good, but unfortunately, the waiter forgot to send in our meal orders so we never got to try the food. The restaurant felt a bit empty, like it hasn't fully bounced back from the effects of the pandemic.

The fusion of Austin Grill and Willie T's seafood is a fantastic blend. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is lively and festive.

Very bland food from the salsas to the table side guac... service was sorely lacking. Won’t be going back
