I absolutely adore the food at this restaurant - they serve the best fish and chips (and burgers) in the area! The only issue I encountered was when they were unexpectedly closed for a public holiday or something similar. It would have been helpful if they had updated their customers through their Facebook page. I tried calling for 10 minutes before giving up and going to Pizza Hut instead. It was very disappointing as I really wanted their delicious fried flake.
This fish shop was once the best in Seaford, but some Lebanese people took it over and the place soon declined in business, and it lost its Pizzazz, hence the Return of the King" the food now is crispy and the fish beautiful, my wife and son noticed it, as I didn't say anything they asked where I got the meal from? and I said Austin Rd! the look of surprise on their faces
My in laws had Austin Road Fish and Chips at our place last night and they were rapt! Said it was the best flake and chips they'd had in a long time. My niece had recently been on a holiday in Portarlington and said that Austin Road was even better than the fresh fish there. We're lucky to have you as our local fish and chips.
Absolutely best food in town and beyond.. Cooked the way Fish 'N ' Chip should be 'The old school way!!! The beautiful clean oil taste is spot on I now am addicted to their battered Mars-bars !! Hat off to Spiro and his father!! a Reserva una mesa ahora
Greeted by young staff that were really helpful, they seem to love they work, fish and potato cakes fresh crisp and the chips were like real potato Will certainly be going back the shop was clean and the wait time was worth it
I heard the previous owners had returned also but loving the quality here. Very tasty! The batter is really light and not greasy like you get with so many other fish and chip shops, Definitely the best in the area.
Over the many years this it has been up and down but a couple of years ago Chris the Greek who was the son of a previous owner returned and the quality improved and now I don't go anywhere else
