I absolutely adore the food at this restaurant - they serve the best fish and chips (and burgers) in the area! The only issue I encountered was when they were unexpectedly closed for a public holiday or something similar. It would have been helpful if they had updated their customers through their Facebook page. I tried calling for 10 minutes before giving up and going to Pizza Hut instead. It was very disappointing as I really wanted their delicious fried flake.
My in laws had Austin Road Fish and Chips at our place last night and they were rapt! Said it was the best flake and chips they'd had in a long time. My niece had recently been on a holiday in Portarlington and said that Austin Road was even better than the fresh fish there. We're lucky to have you as our local fish and chips.
Absolutely best food in town and beyond.. Cooked the way Fish 'N ' Chip should be 'The old school way!!! The beautiful clean oil taste is spot on I now am addicted to their battered Mars-bars !! Hat off to Spiro and his father!! a

Best fish chips shop around. Very helpful staff, delicious burgers and good prices. Have been coming here for 3 years now and never had a complaint.
