This place has a fantastic view overlooking the bay of Double bay. The bar and restaurant staff is friendly and professional. The food is good and above pub quality and is reasonably priced considering the location and the views. We had mostly good experiences here and a occasional bad one, but the issue has always been resolved by the restaurant staff. The 18 Footers yacht club is located right next to the ferry terminal in Double bay. This is a club under the nsw club act, so you need to be a either a member, guest of a member or live out side the 5 km radius to be able to sign-in as a non member. I used to be a member. Now live overseas. Came down for a family wedding and arranged a cocktail party for our friends at the 18 footers. It was absolutely fabulous! Food was very good staff were amazing ….everyone had a great time. Perfect venue. Thank you very much
we live in bali, but never miss an opportunity to visit the Australian 18 footers when in sydney. simply the best. wonderful location, fabulous eating and service. love love

Here's a bar. Don't be fooled by their menu. If you treat it like a bar, you can be rewarded with great views, plentiful seats near the water.
the personal is welcoming, the lookout is spectacular, cocktails and wine card is perfect and the eating is fresh and generous
