Authentic Coffee Co

I was hopeful about this place, thinking it had potential. The concept of an old house turned into a charming coffee shop sounded appealing. However, the iced vanilla latte was overly sweet and lacked any coffee flavor—it ranked as one of my least favorite lattes ever. Additionally, the shop had a musty smell that was off-putting. The eerie religious artwork depicting Jesus didn’t do anything to improve the atmosphere, either. I genuinely enjoy coffee, appreciate the Lord, and have a fondness for quaint coffee shops, but this one fell short in every aspect. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

What an unexpected spot for a coffee shop! An old farm service building has been transformed into this charming café, which truly captures the local vibe. Tucked away from the usual tourist routes, the Authentic Coffee Company is an ideal place for fika (a Swedish coffee break). You can savor your favorite hot or cold drink alongside a delicious baked treat and quickly recharge your energy. The owner is welcoming and gracious, patiently assisting customers with their choices, even when a group of kids was there alongside us, making the experience feel personal.

Join us for an open bluegrass jam this Friday night! The food is excellent, earning a solid 5 out of 5. The service also receives a 5, and the atmosphere is equally fantastic, also rated at 5. Come on down!
