How do I give ZERO stars?I will NEVER AGAIN recommend Authentic Street Taco in El Dorado Hills to anyone! We had a sports party planned on Saturday, May 20, 2023 for over 250 youth athletes and their families. This was booked months ago with Fred, the owner. We followed up numerous times right up until the day before to ensure we were confirmed, they were set, and didn't need anything from us. He assured us we were booked, he would be there. Fred said they have 3 trucks so we had absolutely nothing to worry about!The day of the party, at the time they were set to arrive, we get a picture of a truck being towed and a text from Fred that their truck over heated. Wow. First of all, where these people get their business name? Not even close to authentic! The rice in the burritos, yuck! The quality was ridiculous! The meat was supposed to be carne asada. That meat was nothing more than ground beef. For 5 burritos, a soda, and an order of chips and guac, it came out to $109!!! No thank you!!! The guacamole was a tiny plastic container with a chunk of avocado. It was seriously the worst food I have eaten and i was hungry! Normally anything will taste a little good when you are that hungry. It was gross. We ended up throwing out more than half the food. They need to remove authentic from the name. It was seriously upsetting to get that food.

I 'm a taco/nacho connoisseur of sorts. This is the worst taco I have personally ever had. The meat was watery and bland. it had 0 flavor. for boasting about being authentic they have a long way to go.
