The service---------------As we had booked for 7, we moved one chair to the head of the table. The waiter was visibly unpleased with our rearranging, sighing and arguing, even though there were very few clients and we caused no problems whatsoever. After that, another waiter smacked the glasses on the table, which sounded terrifying without a napkin. We were shocked.The food-----------For a seafood restaurant, the menu was very limited: basically three preparations of mussels and 'sole meunière'. Most of us ordered 'moules marinières', which came without the marinade/bouillon, were small and not tasteful. The 'marmite du chef' was in fact a big pot with bouilled seafood, yet it lacked the ut...
We came walking along the beach from the North side, and reached Le Crotoy quite late for lunch time, so we rushed into this: it's the first restaurant you find entering the town from that direction. A good choice, since we would likely have been refused service in more interesting restaurants farther down. A good view on the beach, sure enough, and on the other side of the Baie de Somme with Saint-Valery sur Somme.It was crowded, still service was accurate and timely - if less than fast. Food was more than acceptable, at a reasonable price, making for a positive experience overall.
We went to this place 3 years ago, and it was average but the view was fab. My eldest son wanted to go again, so we did, tonight and it was lovely. Welcomed in by a pleasant and efficient waitress, who managed to squeeze the five of us in. We all had a large main course, drinks, puddings x3, coffee x2 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely peppered steak and sorbet for me....Not cheap but worth every penny, and nice atmosphere. View still fantastic.
We entered the danger after we found that many restaurants were closed that day. Good surprise? the card is limited but the products are good. varieties of meat and fish. the menu is a little high and many customers are disguised on fried mussels. the price of the bottled wine is excessive. The server is kind and attentive. but above all, there was the view of the bay with a high tide coming and started to descend. a memorized show.

We stopped for lunch after a wander down the pretty much deserted beach front in early March. We were really surprised to find the restaurant was so busy. Lots on offer, friendly staff and great view.Picture Trip Advisor shows for the building is not right, wish I'd remembered to take a Photo to upload. The actual building is very attractive and the front to a hotel overlooking the beach.
we knew the establishment without ever being disappointed or packed, but for the lunch of perfect fried mussels. on the beach on the path of our hike, beautiful view. but 2 hours ago for two fried mussels two beers, a perrier and a coffee at the bar by paying. 60€, not the fault of the charming waitress. and the check this time a little high.
Very average restaurant with slightly high prices. Desert was delicious. Service was kind even though only one of waitresses spoke English.
Tired decor, but spectacular location right on the bay. We shared an excellent and quite copious seafood platter. Would gladly return.

they must climb steep steps to get to the restaurant that has a very nice view of the bay of somme. we ate delicious mush and pommes.
The food was ok, service friendly enough. I would not make a detour to eat there again nor would I recommend to avoid it at all.
