Good food, good couple-owned restaurant, more upper class and ambition to hâute cuisine. Price-perfomance ok, but not great. Prices too high for those kind of dishes. Very friendly and superb service and staff. Very good food indeed, but from my point of view not that special. Dishes served would be cookable at home too. So either lower the price a bit or increase specialty of dishes (from my naive expert point of view). Atmosphere is good, small and tiny, just ~6 tables in total. Great that they keep up the business and restaurant in such a rural area and tiny village. All the best to the owners.
As a vegetarian, we were afraid to land in an inn in the heart of Charolais where we couldn't have eaten much and yet we were surprised by the quality of the velvety menu proposed by the talented chef. We ate at the back of the restaurant, in the shady little courtyard which is a charming place. Local products are very well cooked, the dishes are delicious. The welcome is extremely friendly and the rural setting is ideal for spending a very good time in peace. A little extra would be to expand the wine list offered by the glass. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
