After reading reviews on restaurants close to our hotel we chose this one and were so glad we did. An amazing waitress that spoke great English as unfortunately our French is not more than Bonjour, Merci and this was tres bien! We went for their...set menu as it sounded delicious and the prices were in our budget. Entree we chose scallops and goat cheese wrapped in pastry, main was the sea bass fish in spinach and pastry and chicken both with home made chips and a dessert we shared of tiramisu all washed down with Rose. With just one waitress and one chef and a full house the service was brilliant too. I highly recommend this restaurant and would happily return if ever lucky enough to visit...
We had a three course dinner from a varied selection of the days dishes (Even the children and they loved it). Their scallops and octopus salad were fantastic amongst other dishes. Deserts did not appear to be their strong side and their grilled fish and...chips could have gone well with a home stirred aioli (but I guess we could have asked for that). The service was attentive and pleasent and they presented all the dishes for us in English, thank you. The sorroundings were characterized by the authenticity of the chaotic vibe of Marseille in which they had managed to create a little oasis of calm in its midst. Found this little gem on TripAdvisor and decided to visit after reading some great reviews. This was definitely not a disappointment. We had the octopus salad, which was amazing. The dressing was delicious. I had the grilled seabass and my husband had the chicken stuffed...with ham and cheese, both dishes were divine. Even the warm chocolate brownie was yummy. The service was excellent and the waitress took time to translate the menu to us. Move away from the tourist trap of Vieux Port and make your way up here for dinner.
Small wonderful restaurant with great french food. A nice and very friendly couple gave us top service and the menu was very personal, and they talked us through the details. Our best food experience after ten days in Marseille, and this pearl was located m from our apartment. : Thank You!

Excellent choice in a quiet neighborhood in Marseille. Walking distance from Vieux Port. Restaurant owner and his wife, the chef, very friendly and patiently explained the menu options. Fresh fish is purchased daily at local fish markets. We loved every bite!
We stumbled across this restaurant after our original choice was closed, but it did not disappoint The service was quick and always friendly, despite the place being almost full. Reasonably priced with decent set menu options, the food was fantastic.
We picked this restaurant as the lady who runs it engaged us in conversation and talked us into coming in and we were very happy that we did! Had scallops, veal with mushroom creme sauce and a fresh hot crepe for dessert. Charming little place!
Very friendly service staff and owner are welcoming and make you feel at home. Excellent food. Had the escargot and it was delicious. Tiramisu for dessert was yummmmy. Great place to stop in for dinner after a long day of exploring.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and happened to have the most wonderful meal. Service and food were excellent and the chef came out to check on customers during the evening.
