We visited this restaurant a number of times while staying at the nearby Camping de la Plage site and the food was delicious! We enjoyed galettes, mussels and chips, steak and chips and salads, all of which were generous portions and beautifully cooked. The wine and beer selection is good, and they also serve cocktails which we didn't try but they looked great. The restaurant includes an outside decking area that goes straight on to the beach, providing beautiful views across the sea both day and night. We went twice whilst we were camping at La Plage a five minute walk down the beach. The fact we went back shows what we thought about the food and whilst the restaurant is not what you would call posh, the food is excellent and the view is amazing! During our second visit we had a waitress who huffed and puffed a little when we (or the table next to us) wanted something but this turned out to be funny. If I was not in such good mood however she could have come across as quite rude. That said, the barman and manager were in much better humour as they always are and if you are returning again, don't forget to get your loyalty card stamped for money off in the next visit.
We ate here one evening in July as a family of four. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We were seated outside. We ordered tapas to share and a plate of oysters. For mains we ordered two steak dishes, one moules et frites and the langoustines. The food was divine (best food during our 10 day holiday). It was reasonably priced but worked out fairly pricey for four including two drinks. However I would happily return here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant. The view is spectacular x
fish and seafood were gorgeous and the assortment of mini deserts were fab. the staff were lovely and spoke good English. we sat looking over the sea/beach. Pizza and the calamari from recommended from the take away. also good for drinks and tapas sat in chairs with my feet in the sand, heaven. will most certainly return

Visited with my godchildren and their parents. We were served promptly and efficiently by the waitress who was lovely. Food came promptly which looked spectacular and was not bad. It's on the beach has a captured market so all in all " tres bon"
Great view, great food and most of all great service. The staff were so nice and welcoming. Couldn't have been better!
Good choice allround - with set menus etc. reccomend the 'Cafe Gourmond Plus' as an ideal way to round off a meal.
