Aux Trois Provinces

We made a reservation but we did not stay in the hotel. We did not feel welcome at all. From the beginning we were ignored. We had to ask for an aperitif, we had to ask for water and so on. The entrees were very nice. As a head course I had the filet of sole with vegetables. The sole was too salty, the vegetables to blend. My husband thought that he had ordered lamb chops, what was written on the menu, but what he did get was a lamb shack. At last we ordered desserts and then the waiting begon. Some tables who ordered desserts later than we did, became their desserts and finished it and we were still waiting for a simple crème brûlée and some ice cream. After 30 minutes we asked for the bill...

On our way to Avignon we stopped the first evening in Vauxois. The food in this nice little restaurant was good, not so expensive en the service was enjoyable. After dinner you can have a digestive walk along the river, discovering the authentic village.

A nice cozy restaurant where food is still being made as it should be. We were impressed by the presentation and taste. Wonderful and delicious are the only two words to describe it.

After a long journey from the Drome we arrived in the adjacent hotel who recommended this restaurant. Local food of high quality, pleasant service and ok prices. Worth the visit.

Very good, homemade dishes. reasonable prices but the service is a little slow. You should invest in chairs.
