Je reste très déçu par mon séjour au sein de cet établissement. D’autant plus, que j’ai pris ma décision de réserver après la lecture de nombreux commentaires d’écrivant l’endroit comme « incontournable ».Extérieurement, la bâtisse a beaucoup de charme. En revanche je n'ai pas trouvé la chambre très bien sur les points suivants : minuscule (ridicule) écran TV, un lit avec matelas à ressort (mauvais maintien, pas très confortable), ma compagne étant allergique aux acariens, s'est vu avoir le nez bouché et l’élément pour tenir le pommeau de douche ne remplissait pas ça fonction impossible de le resserrer. My wife and I stopped here in mid September 2018 for a night while travelling south to our holiday destination. What a start to the holiday! We stayed in the hotel, but the restaurant is open to non residents. The restaurant is in a hotel which is a little way out of Mercuer (near Aubenas), up a hillside. It is not easy to find, ensure you know your directions before trying to get there. The meal was fantastic. After an interesting and very tasty amuse bouche, we went for the €39 menu, deux Plats, Fromage et Dessert. The lotte (monkfish) with Ravioles du Dauphiné was superb. We recently had an excellent lunch at this lovely restaurant. We were welcomed and escorted to our table. We decided for the four courses of the 'Menu Carte ' and kicked off with a nice piece of foie gras, although the onion compote was a bit too sour to our liking. The two main courses being grenouilles and the tournedos de boeuf were both excellent. The cheese trolley that followed offered very nice cheeses and we finished in great style with a fantastic omelette norvegien. We combined this with a lovely Saint Joseph blanc. The two ladies who looked after the service were very friendly and had a lot of attention for their guests. All in all a perfect place which we can recommend highly.

très bel endroit dans les hauts d' Aubenas près du village de Mercuer avec la belle église St Loup, feme refaite salle de restaurant joliment décoré repas très bien préparé plat principal un peu juste en quantité et poularde pas le meilleur morceau un peu dur, plateau de fromage conséquent et dessert excellent.
Un accueil sur mesure, le personnel est attentif et "aux petits soins" pour nous. La salle est intimiste, les tables sont très bien espacées. La cuisine et la présentation sont soignées, de la mise en bouche aux mignardises, nos hôtes ont fait en sorte de nous satisfaire. Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent.
