I took a stroll down to the Emporium to take a look at the shops/restaurants and found Avalanche Natures Superfoods. I have seen some reviews here and there so I decided to try it out. There is a wide range of salads, raw slices and vegan slices as well as packaged things like healthy chips, popcorn etc. all around the shop.
I bought a small pearl couscous and moroccan orange salad and a raw cacao crackle slice. My salad was so sweet!!! The couscous had a great texture and worked well with the sweet flavours, there was some sultanas and dried fruit mixed in. It was a bit too sweet for me. The raw cacao crackle slice was ok - I think there were too many nuts and not enough chocolate!!!

a literal health center in the center of fortitude valley, avalance is their new away to stay away with their new years. we all want to be more healthy, more active and more positive versions of ourselves and avalanche has the ware to support us! with a huge selection of menu items, avalanche owner justine proud of it, not nutritional and with options for all!

The staff here were super friendly and happy to help in anyway they could. The prices were pretty reasonable but it the meals took a while to come out. It was pretty busy when we were there though so I would definitely go back :)

the service was only burned like the coffee. When I asked to re-make my coffee, I was treated badly and the second coffee was just as bad. will not come back.

Now I'm not the healthiest of eaters by any means, and for me to give this place a 4 out of 5 star rating is saying something.
