Avalon Freeze - Reserva de mesa

The beach is just a beach, but an Avalon Freeze is absolutely divine. The staff is incredibly friendly. I spotted the owner cleaning the sidewalk early one morning. After participating in the Murray Mile ocean race, I found myself a few dollars short to treat my friend. The generous staff trusted me to return and settle the bill. This is what true Avalon hospitality looks like!

Prices aren't horrendous, honestly, for being a summer go-to spot in Avalon. Soft serve is creamy and not gritty, which sometimes it can be. There are plenty of toppings and cone varieties. Has a nice little sitting area on the corner, and they recently changed their napkins, which are better than the ones they had at the beginning of the summer. It is cash only.

This restaurant used to be great, but ever since the ownership changed, the quality has declined. The ice cream base is now overly milky and has an unpleasant taste. However, if you enjoy that flavor profile, you might find this place to your liking!

Grilled octopus extraordinary! Veal Loren very best veal I’ve ever had and the presentations are beautiful. Mushroom soup was a seasonal delight! Paige was our server and couldn’t have been more professional and kind. Ten stars for Cafe Loren. Reserva una mesa ahora

Just keep in mind that they only have two flavors of soft serve ice cream, vanilla and chocolate. But it's very smooth, creamy and delicious. Plus there's lots of toppings to choose from. Also, the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
