While my husband and i , we were close to starve , we suddenly found a little place just beside a very old gothic fountain representing the way to hell ( including representation of kamasutra , but it is a little bit hidden so no worry for your children ) . Watever , we landed at this pretty restaurant , and i have to say that their fruit juices are one of the best i 've never tasted . My husband for beguining choosed their " Bruschetta " some kind of crisp bread with dry tomato paste , olive , mozzarella . Useless to say that it was simply gorgeous . Then we share the plate of the day which is composed of many and various dishes . Also there we didn't meet any desapointment with the food ....

avanti is a charming café/gallery on the top of the place st michel operated by the artist corinne richaud. the menu consists of a simple selection of homemade farewell served with friendly warmth. it is a great place to sit with a glass of wine...to look over the central fountain and to see the character of the city past. corinnes' paintings are a bonus and there is a stream at the back of the caffe. this is a regular stop for my wife and I and we would strongly recommend a visit.

It is a great spot to sit with a glass of wine overlooking the central fountain and watching the town's characters call by. Corinnes' paintings are a bonus and there is a broconte at the rear of the café. This is a regular stop for my wife and I and we would strongly recommend a visit.

Nice cafe with fairly ordinary food. The menu is very limited and the food very simple. Simple is fine if its done superbly however what you get is relatively ordinary.The green salad is made with one vegetable being corn salad (mâché) and the dressing is presented as a accompanying olive oil and vinegar - that's it. Not bad just not special or great.
