This was without a doubt the best Italian restaurant I've been to in my life. Sergio was our server and was absolutely spectacular he made sure everything was perfect, told us about the history of both the establishment and people who worked there, and could not have been more kind. The pasta is made in house by a gal who clearly loves her work... She's been there several decades and it showed. The gnocchi was seemingly made of clouds. The lasagna couldn't have been more delicious. There is no chance I'll ever come back to Phoenix and not visit.
Best lasagne in town, spaghetti too. Risotto, osobuco...you get the idea. And ditto on the Caesar salad. A separate bar area presents Charles Lewis on piano on weekends. Old shiny New York atmosphere. Can be quiet so we can actually talk. Frank Sinatra is certainly one of those pictured on the entrance wall. Owner sometimes chef Angelo is s legend.
First timer, the Caesar salad was delicious and a great recommendation by our server. The tortellini portofino could just be my favorite. Gabi did a great job serving us we will definitely be back.
Decor and menu is like stepping back into an early 80’s which is cool and not pretentious Homemade pasta is so delicious. Go here if you want good, original Italian food and a classic cocktail.

Came here for a holiday party. Food was good, service was slow (but it was a banquet/buffet style with drink service) and atmosphere was dated and a little dingy. Not bad, but not great.
Absolute Gem! Took the fam here for the first time on NYE and the food was amazing! The old school vibe was perfect and the staff was on point. We will be back soon!
So much delicious food. Started with the escargot, followed by Caesar salad and shrimp and scallop pasta. A delicious local hidden gem!
