Aversa's Italian Bakery

AVERSA! I recently visited their Margate location and was a bit underwhelmed. I didn't realize this was their main location in the area, but I was taken there this past Sunday, and wow! They have this sweet turnover filled with cream cheese (which I've now learned is called a Cheese Pocket) that is absolutely perfect in every way. Delicious! The cream puff donut was also fantastic. Everything in their store deserves an "oo la la" moment. They're so accommodating that they'll even slice a loaf of bread for you. And the marble rye is the best sandwich bread you’ll ever find.

What a fantastic selection of baked goods! I had been searching for lemon bars, and thankfully, they had them. There were so many other delicious options too. We had a hard time deciding what to choose!

The cheese pocket might be the best thing I ever had. I happened upon this place one day while working. I returned with my family during Christmas break just to get them again!!! absolute best!!!

First time stopping here on our way from the casinos back to VA...fab place so many yummy treats. Bread amazing, prices are good for a bakery, makes you want to go back for more.

The cinnamon roll was delicious, but I highly recommend the lemon bar – it's absolutely amazing!
